这一升级包的作用是集成到包含SP3的Windows XP CD来使得它含有所有微软在发布SP3后发布的补丁。这一作用通过直接集成——即用升级后的文件覆盖到CD当中——来实现。相比起其他的集成方法这一方法有着如下的几个优点: 由于CD上的文件被升级后的文件直接覆盖，因此不会存在复制补丁到硬盘上和运行补丁之间遭受的损害的可能性。这保证了最大的可靠度和安全性。 所有Windows Update、QFECheck、以及Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer(MBSA)需要的注册表条目在安装Windows时已经导入，这使得这一操作完全透明(即Windows看不出你是通过这一方法实现的Windows升级，而认为你是安装了其中包含的所有补丁)。 已加入了所有Windows文件保护所需要的用来识别文件数字签名的安全编录文件，再一次保证了这一操作的透明化。 由于CD上的文件被升级后的文件直接覆盖，因此CD上额外的文件和操作条目将保留最低值——包括文件大小占用以及Windows的安装时间。 无论Windows安装是否使用了无人参与模式，这一升级包都会生效。

集成方法/nlite兼容性:

可使用 nlite 1.4.9 或 RyanVM Integrator 来集成，推荐使用 RyanVM Integrator，你可以在集成完毕后再使用 nlite 来进行其它操作。 本人测试环境为RyanVM Integrator 1.5.4 beta 8.4。nlite已经n个版本没测试了。

nlite用户如果覆盖集成在已集成1.0.3及以上版本的安装源上，请在集成前先删除该安装源i386\下的win32k.sys。 此版本不包含本月安全更新的版本经虚拟机安装测试完全正常。添加本月发布的KB958687后未经安装测试，事出有因，可能现在不发布就不知道要什么时候才能回来了。 此外本月更新了Microsoft Update套件，请一定将您手中的文件升级到下面地址中最新的版本。
